About Chanko cuisine
Chanko is a meat and vegetables stew served in a large pot. As it is originally offered at training gyms for sumo wrestlers, chanko is served in large portions. A little smaller version for those not as big as sumo wrestlers, is increasingly becoming popular, especially though counterintuitive, among young women. Today you can try chanko cuisine at fashionable and modern restaurants opened by ex-sumo champion restaurateurs.

Tokyo District refers to the area around the Tokyo Station at the East side of Central Tokyo. Many financial institutions are crowed around this district. New multiplex buildings are springing up in the area, adding many popular restaurants. Mandarin Oriental and Four Seasons are nearby.
