Other key locations in Tokyo

There are many other interesting areas in Tokyo, and you should explore them as much as you have time.

Shinjuku has the busiest train station in the world. It has many high-rise buildings in the West side, and a famous nightlife spot called Kabukicho in the East side.

Roppongi is the area with the highest concentration of bars, clubs, and also international crowds. The area is close to many embassies and foreign firms.

Marunouchi is the financial district of Tokyo and also a terminal for long-distance trains.

Shinagawa is another major terminal station in the South of Tokyo. The area is also the home of Sony.

Shiodome is a futuristic waterfront area with high-rise buildings. Conrad Tokyo, Hilton Group’s top brand hotel, is located here.

Ebisu used to be a former Yebisu Beer factory. After the factory moved out, the area was converted into a multiplex with many popular shops, restaurants, and offices. Westin Tokyo and Morgan Stanley are located here.
